The six teams outside the field, after Week 6

The last wild card is Pure Greatness (seed 5, All-Play 39-27). The 6th seed, Real Deal Creel (33-33), is a division winner, and division winners are protected, so it is never the yardstick.

Tests

Full safe suite on 13597e4b: 234 passed, 0 failed.
New tests/standings_wc_back.test.mjs on the real Week 6: a non-division winner with a better All-Play record than the protected division-winner 6th seed is still outside, and is measured from the last wild card. No team's WC Back equals its gap to any division winner, and nothing negative is shown. 7 of its 8 tests fail on the released code; the first only checks the data.

Data and safety

Every Standings read is recorded. They were computed offline by each version's own worker on the 2026-10-17 D1 snapshot, plus Week 6 from MFL's public export (weeklyResults W=6, read 2026-10-21 01:38 UTC). Other reads are the earlier preview's recordings.
The page makes no live reads of production. A read missing from the recording is refused and counted in the banner. Writes (POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE) are blocked in the page, and the host serves static files only.
This fix's review made zero production D1 reads, zero writes and zero live worker GETs. The only external reads were three public MFL exports (weeklyResults W=5, W=6, leagueStandings).

Not verified: real Safari and iPhone; the live authenticated MFL page.
